Answers to the questions we hear most often about booking, deposits, drop-off and mobile service, and our detailing, ceramic coating, starlight headliner, and headlight restoration work in Saskatoon.
Deposits, confirmation & cancellation
- Is a deposit required to book?
- Yes. A $100 deposit is required to secure every appointment. The deposit is applied toward the final cost of the booked service. After you submit a booking request, we contact you with instructions for paying the deposit by credit card or e-transfer. The appointment is not fully confirmed until the deposit has been received. - How do I pay the deposit?
- The deposit is paid by credit card or e-transfer. It is not collected inside the website booking form — we contact you after your request with payment instructions.
- When is my appointment confirmed?
- Your appointment is confirmed once we have received your $100 deposit. Until then the request is treated as pending.
- How much notice do I need to cancel or reschedule?
- At least 12 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment. When at least 12 hours' notice is provided, your deposit may be transferred one time to a rescheduled appointment. Less than 12 hours' notice makes the deposit non-refundable.
- What happens if I don't show up?
- If you do not arrive and provide no notice, the deposit is non-refundable. The same applies if you or the vehicle are unavailable when the appointment begins, or if a mobile appointment cannot proceed because the location, access, or vehicle information provided was materially inaccurate.
- What if you have to cancel or reschedule?
- If LA's Auto Detailing must cancel or reschedule the appointment, you can choose to transfer the deposit to another available appointment or receive a full refund of the deposit.
Drop-off service
- How does drop-off work?
- Drop-off is by appointment only at 231 Korol Crescent in Saskatoon. Please meet us outside the garage at your appointment time rather than entering the building.
- Do you have a waiting room, loaner car, or shuttle?
- No. We do not offer a waiting room, loaner vehicle, or shuttle service. Please plan a ride or errand while your vehicle is being detailed.
Mobile service areas & pricing
- Where do you offer mobile detailing?
- We offer mobile detailing in Saskatoon, Warman, Martensville, and eligible parts of Corman Park.
- How much is the mobile surcharge?
- Inside Saskatoon the mobile charge is a fixed $30. For Warman, Martensville, and eligible Corman Park addresses we quote travel case-by-case with a minimum of $30, and confirm the final amount before your appointment is booked.
- Do you service Corman Park?
- Corman Park mobile service is generally available within approximately 20 minutes' drive or 25 km of the Saskatoon location. Final eligibility is confirmed before the appointment.
- Do I need to provide water or power?
- Customer-provided water and power are not normally required for mobile detailing. Any location-specific requirements are confirmed before the appointment.
- What happens if the weather turns for a mobile appointment?
- Mobile detailing is not performed in unsuitable weather. If conditions are unsafe or would compromise results, we contact you to reschedule.
- When will you arrive for a mobile appointment?
- Please expect an arrival window of approximately 15 minutes around your scheduled start time. We contact you if traffic or the prior job affects the window.
Detailing packages
- What detailing packages do you offer?
- We offer Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond full-detail packages, sized to small, medium, and large vehicles. Package inclusions and prices are listed on the Auto Detailing service page.
Paint correction
- How much is paint correction?
- Paint correction starts at $350 and is offered as 1-stage, 2-stage, or 3-stage service depending on paint condition. It is a drop-off-only service. Because outcomes depend on paint thickness, hardness, and pre-existing damage, we assess each vehicle before quoting the recommended stage. Some deep defects cannot be safely removed.
Ceramic coating
- What ceramic coating packages do you install?
- We install three ceramic packages: 3-year at $600, 5-year at $850, and 8-year at $1,100. Ceramic coating is a drop-off-only service.
- Is there a warranty on ceramic coatings?
- The 3, 5, and 8-year labels refer to the coating product's expected durability under proper care. LA's Auto Detailing provides a separate 12-month workmanship warranty covering confirmed installation defects. Manufacturer-stated product lifespan is an estimate, not a guarantee. Starlight headliner
- How much is a starlight headliner and how long does it take?
- Starlight headliner installations start at $900 and generally take 1–3 days depending on vehicle and pattern complexity. It is a drop-off-only service.
- Is there a warranty on starlight headliners?
- Yes — a 12-month workmanship warranty on the installation. It does not cover damage from accidents, tampering, aftermarket electrical work, or removal and reinstallation by another shop. See the full starlight-headliner workmanship warranty for details.
Headlight restoration
- How much is headlight restoration and how long does it take?
- Headlight restoration is $80 per pair and usually takes 1–2 hours. It is available as either drop-off or mobile service. Results depend on the severity of oxidation and lens condition; heavily damaged or cracked lenses may not be fully restorable.
Satisfaction
- Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
- Yes, on workmanship. Please inspect the vehicle at completion and contact us within 24 hours if you believe an included part of the booked service was missed or was not completed to a reasonable professional standard. When a valid workmanship concern is confirmed, we correct the affected area at no additional labour charge — the remedy may be limited to re-performing the affected portion of the original service.
